Advocacy & Action

Advocacy plays an important role in the Diabetes Educator's work to fulfill the mission of diabetes care. The St. Louis Association of Diabetes Educators is committed to supporting, and when necessary initiating, the promotion of legislative reform to improve health care and health insurance coverage for people with diabetes. AADE provides the membership with up-to-date information on legislative activity (see AADE Advocacy). SLADE serves the St. Louis membership by conveying this information in a timely manner.
